Crofting Services

81% of the Crofters Commission staff work within our Crofting Services and Occupancy Teams. 

The Occupancy Team (10% of our staff) work with communities and key partners, identifying and targeting Commission action to increase the contribution crofting makes to rural communities and to National Outcomes. 

Our Crofting Services Teams (71% of our staff) cover different geographic areas and deal with the day to day regulatory work that stems from administering the crofting regulation.

The remaining staff 19% are deployed in supporting these teams.
